Our Collection
Guiomar creates one-of-a-kind hand-crafted haute couture clothes for women.
Her creations are inspired by the beautiful wild lands of her home country, Colombia: reminiscence of her childhood, her homeland becomes the source of inspiration and creativity, reflected in the elegant, smooth, sometimes eccentric design of her garments.
Night dresses, palazzo pants, skirts, shirts, t-shirts, sweaters, hats, scarves; the range is wide, the formula is unique: art at the service of fashion. When you pick Guiomar, you don't receive an object but a work of art imbued with her vision of life, as a woman and as an artist.
As part of the company policy, the whole production process takes place in US and, whenever possible, material supply comes from New York to support local businesses.
About Us
Guiomar Giraldo-Baron was born in Colombia, South America. About thirty years ago she came to New York City where she resides today. Guiomar is a costume and fashion designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She worked as an assistant designer for Marc Jacobs and as a technical designer for Liz Claiborne.
In 2016, Guiomar decided it was time to take the brand to the next level. She and her team worked hard to gather the creations of a lifetime and launch them under one recognizable name, one word that represents not only the trademark of a rare high quality product, but also the values of a woman that decided to put herself to the test after years of collecting experiences and expertise. Guiomar is an offer, a challenge, for women by a woman.
